Favorite Destinations: "Paris, as a cultural epicenter, is home to some of the world’s greatest art, history, architecture, music, fashion, gastronomy and wine - all of which you can experience just by walking around this astonishing French metropolis.

Buenos Aires, where cosmopolitan Europe meets passionate Latin America, creating a very special place that is truly unique and amazing.

South Africa because you can view the Big Five on a game drive near Kruger, take a private wine estates tasting tour in Franschhoek and have a decadent dinner overlooking the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town - all within 36 hours.

Bhutan for many reasons, but especially because of the warmth and generosity of the people, which is impossible to miss. In particular, the Punakha Valley at the foot of the Himalayas is one of the most scenic and peaceful settings on the planet.

Australia because of snorkeling the inner Great Barrier Reef in the Whitsundays, interacting with indigenous wildlife and learning about aboriginal history in Wolgan Valley, and waking up to the sunrise behind the Opera House across a foggy Sydney Harbour.

Boston and the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire due to spending the summer relaxing on a lake, watching the fall foliage, hibernating in winter before the spring thaw brings New England back to life and enjoying the best seafood in the universe. But mostly because it’s home"

Favorite Travel Experience: "Every destination I have the privilege to visit affords yet another opportunity for me to step, albeit briefly, into the world of people from all corners of the planet. The differences – and more often than not, the similarities – between these cultures and daily ways of life, including my own, are truly just as inspiring as they are intriguing. The awareness and empathy I have progressively acquired as a direct result of my extensive travel experiences are unquestionably matchless. I truly cannot imagine how altered my life would be without the ability to travel"
